Ihad a dream (Footprints) - 足印 背后的故事

“One night I dreamed a dream.
I was walking along the beach with my Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenesfrom my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, onebelonging to me and one to my Lord.

When the last scene of my life shot before me I looked back at the footprintsin the sand. There was only one set of footprints. I realized that this was atthe lowest and saddest times of my life. This always bothered me and Iquestioned the Lord about my dilemma.

"Lord, You told me when I decided to follow You, You would walk and talkwith me all the way. But I'm aware that during the most troublesome times of mylife there is only one set of footprints. I just don't understand why, when Ineed You most, You leave me."

He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you,never, ever, during your trials and testings. When you saw only one set offootprints, It was then that I carried you.”

我有一个梦

（足印）                                                      



一天夜里，我作了一个梦。

我与主并肩在沙滩上漫步。

在漆黑的天际，闪掠过我人生幕幕的片段。

在每一片段中，我察觉到

沙滩上有两双足印

一双是我的，一双是主的。

当最后一个片段浮现在我眼前时，我回望沙滩上的足印，

却只有一双。

我察觉这是我人生最低迷，

最忧伤的时候。

我感到困惑。我求问主说；

[主啊！你曾说过，当我立志要跟随你，

你会在路上伴我同行，与我共话。

但我发现在我最愁苦难熬的日子，

竟剩下一双足印。

我真不了解，为什么在我最需要你的时候，

你却离开我。]

他轻声答道；[我宝贝的孩子，我疼爱你，

永不会离开你。不会，永远也不会。在你受试炼磨难的日子，

你见到一双足印的时刻，是我怀抱着你。
