去年2015年是我到公司上班10周年，每年我们公司会举办一个大会，基本所有员工都参加，是公司高层给服务满5周年,10周年,15,20，。。周年的员工颁发一个小纪念品（我拿的是个有公司LOGO的小胸针）。对着这个小纪念品，我开始回顾自己10年的公司历程：

2005年2月，（刚登陆不到一年）师兄在药厂上班，他从内部帮我递上简历，得到电话面试机会，在索菲亚经理助理电话面试我的时候，回答一些关于分析方法开发和方法验证Analytical method development and validation的一些相关问题.结束时我提到我和师兄是同一个学校毕业的，因为师兄干的好，她就给了我in-house interview的机会，in-house interview 我留给她的印象很好，这样基本大局拿下。由于in-house 面试director没有参加，所以他在多伦多找个咖啡店又面试一回，画了一张液相色谱基线规律性波动的图，问我可能是什么问题，我说是HPLC pump 出了问题。他笑了。。。之后是reference check等都顺利过关。4月份开始上班。First year 2005: Stability group; 2006-2007: Method Validation; 2008:Method Transfer group. 2010年 Method Validation被移到R&D部门，连刚升经理不久的索菲亚都被一起搬过去了。我留在了Stanadard group, 这第四个组呆了整整6年之久。6年中孩子活动很多，也觉得上班轻松不费脑也蛮好，也想事业有新追求，但是从来没有想过换工作。2015年5月申请部门内部一个coordinator的位置，没有想到没拿下来，2015年12月份看到R&D部门招Chemist II, 正郁闷的我，赶忙申请。因为在QC部门我是Sineior Chemist level II, 已经到顶，没有上升空间，而我们部门的Sineior Chemist level II, 到研发部门，不过是Assoicate III或者Chemist I. 上边空间很大，还有Senior等可升。由于我有Validation的背景，他们1月份就给我面试通知，由于从我们部门原先管我的索菲亚第一次本来下午3:00面试，早上临时通知说下雪天气不好，有部分面试官没有来，第二次改成一周后的下午1:00，离面试前半小时突然说取消面试（索菲亚Senior Manager手受伤，无法参加面试，她是我的老雇主，很希望能参加面试）。近10天没有声音，终于最后确定2月16日早上9：00面试，那天又下小雪，9点我到会议室，就两个goup leaders来了，重新改成10：00. 这回来了6个：Manager, Senior Manger, 3 group leaders, HR specialist. 问题难得都是后边这些人问的。还好面试过关，原本以为Director还有一轮，没有想到周四2月24日收到offer。好高心谢谢索菲亚，没想到她右手受伤，左手单身给我回了邮件如下：

Thank you xx  for your email – I am more pleased than you that you have accepted the offer!  I have been waiting for this moment for 5 years now hoping that you would apply for such a position.  You are a gifted person in thinking, troubleshooting, systematic and analytical review of the problems, with experience and knowledge as well as excellent communication skills!  Additionally, you have a wonderful personality!  You truly made my day!  Please let me know as soon as you hear of your transfer date… I cannot wait!  I will be in communication with HR and XX on the start date also.
P.S. I would like to speak with you tomorrow, if time permits.  Please let me know your availability and/or check my calendar for a free spot (if I am fully booked tomorrow, we can perhaps meet on Friday).

今天同索菲亚见面，她说我暂时没有固定哪一个组，那里忙就先到哪里。最早会去做Cleaning Validation，她说5年来每次把内部招聘贴在餐厅都希望我会去申请，可是我一直没有。。。哎！谁知道老领导原来一直还盼着旧部下呢。希望自己过去能好好干，就凭她单身给我回邮件也得不偷懒多学新知识多解决方法开发中碰到问题。

工作10年了终于有了新转变，也算开心！
